How to Use Testimonials to Increase Conversions (Get Social Proof)

Examples of social proof include case studies and testimonials. A great way to use them is to embed them on your website.

For example, if you were featured on "CNN," you might say "featured on CNN."

But it usually won't increase your conversions much. To get more sales, you need to incorporate social proof throughout your website.

If someone is considering buying your product because it will help them get stronger, showing them testimonials from others who have gotten stronger from your product will make them more likely to close the sale.

Same with case studies, you need to link to the page they are on, rather than just saying "see all my case studies".

You can also do similar things with reviews. Just look at any Amazon product page... you'll see user reviews. This helps boost conversions.

Now when you use social proof, make sure you are very thorough. Single-line quotes won't help much. People want to read the details. Also, include the person's full name and photo.
